Amy Simon is an educator, artist, activist, and owner of ALLURE ART STUDIO in Queens. She began painting at 11 and continued painting throughout her life as a hobby. In 2017, Amy decided to own her art skills and share her art with the world. After doing so, many art opportunities found her. She’s been in 11 art shows in NYC with an exhibition at the Kings Manor Museum with South Queens Women’s March. She was a featured artist chosen to paint the Black Lives Matter mural on Jamaica Ave and participated in a Live Painting for Juneteenth Queens curated by Assemblywoman Alicia Hyndman in Roy Wilkins Park.
In April 2019, Amy opened ALLURE Art Studio to merge her love of art & teaching and encourage others to explore their own creativity. She also curates art shows at the studio to provide a platform for other artists to get their work seen. Her mission is to nurture creativity, confidence, and culture in everyone through art.
